thx. by the way, i have been using the free version of objectdock since before joining this forum. i feel like i need to try and change the whole design of this here free version. for the new year
i read the wiki docu..so as i understand it, changing a dock design is like changing a windowblind skin eh? and with objectdock plus, i can add more desktop icons instead of letting them crowd the desktop looking quite messy

p.s. do i have to remove the free version before installing the paid one?

I would remove it... you won't lose any of your themes or anything when you do... most of the posts on here are from people who have trouble when upgrading from the free to the plus so I would uninstall it first... and also install it through Impulse so you have no trouble...
