You're lucky.  Like anything else, you get one and then you're burdened with having to maintain the darn thing!

And I just heard they are coming out with a touchscreen version that boots in under 45 minutes. I think I'll trade up when it comes up.

A big knob...

Actually, I haven't really. But then I don't have either an inferiority complex or feel the need to brag about anything... Such responses are not logical.

A big knob...

I had one of those once... 'til a horde of beautiful women broke it off while beating down my door to ravish me.

Oops, this isn't the 'I Had This dream Last Night' thread, is it?

I don't have either an inferiority complex or feel the need to brag about anything

'Til it comes to Pommie cricket  and trying in vain to win back the Ashes.

Such responses are not logical.

Starkers, coming from a country where your current team is a pile of dren your response is not logical...

Yeah, fancy that... getting beat by the Proteas.

Oh well, it might learn some in the team that they don't have the 'right' to win just cos they're Aussie cricketers... it's nice to win, but arrogance ruins the game and it's reputation as a sport of gentlemen.

The good old days eh Starkers?

Yup, and I hope to be able to relive them on the next England tour here,  If I am able to get to the Gabba I'll hook up with the 'Barmy Army' again... cos last time I had an absolute ball with those guys and would like to again, such is the life and character they bring to a game.  Yup, win or lose, there's nobody else that celebrates the game of cricket like the Brits.... bring it on.

Exactly. Which is why Matthew Hayden is despised everywhere in the world (except Australia) and Sir Viv Richards is seen as one of the all time greats - both have similar test averages.

Sorry to those down under, but Hayden epitomises the very worst in (Austrailian) cricket over the last decade. I'm glad to see the back of the little shit.

I was genuinely disappointed when Richards retired because I enjoyed watching him play so much, even if he did give us a hell of a pounding.

The Barmy Army would sit out in the rain in fancy dress. Crackers, every last one of them.

I might throw one of these in my rig... just to give it a little more mult-tasking grunt when recording and editing video, etc.

I mean, my AMD Athlon 64 x2 6400 @ 3.4ghz is no slouch, but giving it Red Bull doesn't exactly give it wings... and I wanna fly. Yeah, I could overclock the 6400 to around 3.8 or 09ghz, but it still wouldn't have the wings of the Phenom II and most likely would have greater wear and tear over time.  I'll of course have to wait until the Oz dollar is stronger against the 'greenback'  (currently it's AUD$3.00 for USD$ 2.00), but it's a plan for when Win 7 goes gold.

The Barmy Army would sit out in the rain in fancy dress. Crackers, every last one of them.

And that's what makes then such great blokes to enjoy the game with... win or lose they celebrate the game with a fervour I've not seen in other cricket fans.

if your looking for a w*nker in cricket, its shane warne...

No argument there, Kitty, he's one of the most arrogant mongrels in cricket (life generally) and one of those I overheard at the Gabba  saying: "It's our right to win! We're Aussies and those c***s don't even deserve to be on the same paddock as us."  Warne wasn't the only one... there were others with equally defamatory remarks.

I mean, what sort of talk is that!  They might be a great side, but that doesn't give them the right, cos not only is it arrogant, it shows a complete lack of respect for the opposition... which on the day, happened to be England.  Oh, and Hayden was not of the ones mouthing off, BTW.... as opener, he was sat quietly contemplating his innings, I guess.
