Pin to the desktop
Can't pin it...
Thursday, December 4, 2008 by Axiol | Discussion: Windows Vista
Hello hello,
A lot of program have an option "Pin to the desktop". I'm on Vista and that option doesn't work. I thing it's because Vista considere the desktop as a window, so the object witch is under pin in no longer visible when I do Win+D.
I've done a recherche, but i didn't find a solution. Do you have a solution?
Thanks and see you.

I think what he's talking about is sort of like a "sticky note" thing....maybe his program does it with a pin type image.
I'd say your best bet would be to ask the software company...maybe they have a "patch" for Vista.
Sorry I couldn't be more help....bon chance... ![]()

Do you mean "Pin to Start Menu"? You can try: Right click taskbar and click properties. Choose Start Menu at top then choose Customize. Scroll down to "Enable context menus and dragging and dropping". I don't know if that's what your looking for, it's worth a try.
