I am loving Vista, thanks again to Stardock!

Ok I am loving my computer now. After several days of tweaking with Stardock's sofware I am running super smooth. I have decided to go ahead with Vista Ultimate 64bit as I have been downloading all my drivers (Compaq laptop) and all are 64 bit and I was assured by HP they are good. I can't wait to get this computer to 64 bit I hope it's worth it. My conly concern is iTunes which is problematic on good days...any Kudos to Stardock had I not tried at the very least ObjectDock I was going to buy another Powerbook G4 but I am happy as every with this setup. I had to gush a bit more

I know but I read if I use Impulse I should be ok, I hope..

Well I have done quite a bit of research and sent many emails. Looks like everything I use, including iTunes will be AOK on 64 bit. I will be home later tonight to throw the new hard disk in and load up Vista Ultimate 64, can't wait! I am tossing around the idea of dual-booting with Ubuntu Linux but not so sure yet..

OD+ runs great on Vista Ultimate 64 for me. I've never had an issue with it altho others have. I've been blessed in the sense that Stardock apps have always worked as they should for me. Michael, get 8 gigs of RAM. You won't regret it!

My computer I think is limited to 3gb but I will do some checking on that, I have 2 slots 1gb in each. I would love to at least put a 2gb in each slot..

Quick update I have installed Vista Ultimate 64bit, no problems at all. Until I installed some optional updates and had to remove them. That was the only hitch so far, as of now running perfect! I don't really notice any speed differences anywhere but at least everything is working fine. iTunes is also working good, installed the 64bit version and no problems there either.

Mike, I also read in one of the threads there might (might, mind you) be a problem with OD+ in Vista Ultimate 64.
You might get lucky, though.
