Bootskin Pro skinning and Bootskin XP
Files not compatible
Friday, November 21, 2008 by HG_Eliminator | Discussion: Stardock Support General
I first would like to thank you all for contributing to the newest Library, Bootskin Pro. The contributions have been magnificent. ![]()
Now down to buisness:
While Xp boots and Pro boots have the same file extension .bootskin, they both contain different contents within. So XP boot skins are not compatible with the Vista Pro and vise versa. WC now has 2 Boot skin libraries and each will need to be uploaded to, according to XP or vista standards.
Thank you all once again for you hard work and dedication to WC.

Hi,
BootSkin Pro do not work for me in Windows Vista Ultimate. When I try to apply any Bootskin a popup BootSkin error appear and tell me:
There was an error while applying skinname.
Can anyone tell me how to solve that?
