This is an easy little game to kill some time.
I start with a question and you must answer with a question. As easy as that.![]()
I'll start: Did you cheat in school?

Tis the season again.
But,,, I am moving to the city in 2 weeks. I will be managing a 44 apartment, 3 storey. Yahoo!!! Needless to say I cannot wait. No planting of such an animal this spring. Can't wait to have no time again. I really miss that. Hard wood floors throughout. Beauty. An older building but, kept up. Lots of wood. I'm so happy. There is a flood coming this way. We are avoiding it this way to. We might lose our house. That or mud, mud, mud.
Know what I mean? Just glad I'm not in BC to receive that radiation rain. OMG

So, going from the country into the city means more more nude sunbathing in the backyard?

Watch out IROKONESS. starkers got a brand new used whrlygig. and dontcha think he went and put a camera on it?
Reply #4265 Friday, April 1, 2011 5:59 PM
Yeah well I'm not moving to the city till May,15,11. Darn. The lady I'm taking over for won't be leaving till then. But, on the cool side I signed my contract this morn. Yahoo. A nice 2 bdr...main floor. If the flood get's to bad here we have a 1 bdr available till I start. No charge.. So no worries for this gal.
And I only nude bathed in those tanners. So cool. Beauty. No tan lines. But, I don't do that anymore since cancer scares.....
It was also so relaxing. I tried tanning creams. Euwww Never got that right. haha I just put a little blush on my cheeks now.. Cuz I'm just so darn white you know. Even the sun I shy away from.
Do you tan? Do you dare?
Starkers, you have that beautiful back yard?
Reply #4266 Saturday, April 2, 2011 2:23 PM
When there's internet and WC, do you think I'm ever gonna outdoors long enough to tan?
[It would be a much better back yard if there weren't a million bull ants ..... they hurt like buggery when they bite, which would frequently if I stood still for 5 seconds. There's no stopping for a break when I mow.... well not 'til I get back inside. I've been trying to poison them with an insecticide sand they take into their nests, but they always seem to find a new queen and move just a few feet away. I suppose if I persist I'll eventually get rid of them.]

Bull ants.
That sounds horrific. You know I had ants coming into my house. I know they're not in your house but, just saying, the way I stopped them was by putting baby powder at all the window and doors. They apparently will not walk on that stuff. And therefore do not come near.
Maybe you could put that stuff all over their nest. Drive them nuts and far away from you. Wishing you well.
How's that whrlygig coming along?
Reply #4268 Monday, April 4, 2011 9:35 AM
Especially if they bite somewhere tender. It'd bad enough getting bitten on the feet while mowing, etc, but one time I was bitten much farther up and... let's just sat it brought a tear to the eye.
[e digicons]:'([/e] I might try that baby powder thing, though.
So, if I was flying overhead and my whirlygig ran out of fuel, would it be okay if I landed right beside where you were nuddy sun bathing?
Reply #4269 Monday, April 4, 2011 6:19 PM
I checked out Bull ants and they must be a real nightmare. They also Sting.
I truly hope the baby powder works. They don't like getting it on their legs.. it takes their senses away, and enters the nest, continuing making a mess everywhere. I must say mine weren't 1 inch long though. I watched a video, this guy let one bite and sting him. He looked BBad. He was crying to.
I really hope it works for you Starkers.
And why wouldn't you be able to land right beside me with your whrlygig?
I can't think of any reason why not...

Yup, they'd have to be the worst garden pest know to man... while others may eat the plants, bull ants try to eat you, and it hurts quite a bit just to be bitten once. Imagine a few or several bites. That's why the mowing is done in record time... no stopping long enough for them to latch on and bite., though I still get the occasional one now and then.
There certainly is less of them than when we moved here, so I may just be beginning to win the war with this 'ant sand' that gets taken to the nest and kills many of them off. I'll still try the baby powder, though, it might just be the edge I need to finally be rid of them.
So long as I bring the picnic and a bottle of wine, right?
Reply #4271 Tuesday, April 5, 2011 7:47 AM
A picnic with starkers sounds marvellous! And wine.
I'd be happy just listening to your accent. ![]()
No Bull ants picnic, OK?
I'm wondering if they could be exported and thrive out here. 40- isn't an environment for all insect life?
Reply #4272 Tuesday, April 5, 2011 8:31 AM
My accent isn't full Aussie... it's mostly Devonshire with an Aussie twang these days.... as I came from Devon, England originally. I've lived in Australia 42 years, hence the Aussie twang to go with it.
Think Hagrid from Harry Potter with an "Gidday" and you're close.
Bett'r still.....

Orright to bring a small dog instead to eat the scraps, then?
Oh, and here's another clip to give you an idea of how my accent....
.... take out the bleeps and you've got a fair idea.

Bull ants may bite and bees might sting but dontcha think reformatting and doin' stuff all over again is a bigger pain in the ass? Or ........
Reply #4275 Tuesday, April 5, 2011 8:54 AM
So what you're saying , then, is that you'd rather get bitten on the ass by a bull ant than reformat?
Reply #4276 Tuesday, April 5, 2011 12:52 PM
Isn't it a matter of whichever one is less painful?
If a bull ant bites your tush isn't that a pain in the ass too?
Does baby powder work as good on a laptop as it may or may not do with bull ants?
Do you see the gregarious analogies here?
Reply #4277 Tuesday, April 5, 2011 2:22 PM
A bite on the bum or one on the scrotum?
And if it bites you twice isn't that a pain in the ass two?
Doesn't baby powder work as well for damp patches in your underwear as it does for laptops and bull ants?
Wasn't Gregarious a Roman Senator?
Reply #4278 Tuesday, April 5, 2011 6:55 PM
No wonder Rome fell. They all got 'Gregarious'. Didn't they?
Reply #4279 Wednesday, April 6, 2011 9:25 AM
Those two Ronnies are outrageous.
And the accent is easy on the ears.
And baby powder on your laptop Uvah? Some kinda rash or something?

It is only nine months old ya know. Aren't babies prone to such stuff?
