Deskscapes problem

Thursday, November 13, 2008 by Asmodean_dk | Discussion: Object Desktop

I have a problem with Deskscapes. I like to switch between desktop backgrounds. Some days I will want a .dream running, and some days I just want a picture as my background.

Now that is where my problem is, because when I try to set a picture as my desktop background, Deskscapes won't let me do it. Or rather, the dream still appears as my backhround - even after a reboot.

How do I get my PC to accept a picture as the background....short of uninstalling Deskscapes, because I still use it regularly?

My set-up is Vista Home Premium with a Windows Experience Index of 5.5

Cheers from Morten

i tried to recreate this and couldn`t. i used the personalise page and swapped between dreams, video and still images, all worked as expected. i ried right clicking on things and selecting as desktop background, again all worked fine.

it could be a deskscapes 2 issue but i don`t recall seeing any posts like this before so my first thought is graphics driver.

Thanks - hadn't thought of that.

I believe it is some months since I last checked for updated graphics drivers. Will doo so and report back

Thanks for trying to re-create
