Having enabled sreen saver in dream manager i notice it only looks for dream files to to use when in point of fact it should look for screen saver format files to convert to dreams hence it finds none ?

Yes my mistake I think I may have screwed the reg up anyway a fresh install of o/s and dm works very well I really like the photos screen saver as a desktop dream , works very well with hundreds of family pics even better using the travel theme within it adjusting the speed and shuffle in screen saver setting before hand and able to use all my sub folders that my pics live in.

I purchased Dream Manager also, and apparently have gotten a different version.
I see NOWHERE to activate any Screensaver Mode.
Is the setting hidden or something?
I did use the update button. Version is shown as v1.1.5.0
Other than that, good program, M-203 likey...
Would this work on XP as a Wallpaper Manager? If not, could it be made to do so?

PM me for the info on how to activate Screen Saver Mode
Once DeskScapes for XP comes out, I will work to make Dream Manager compatible with the XP (Less the Desktop Dimmer mode). Perhaps StarDock would be nice enough to provide me with a beta?

Ok, I followed your instructions, and now have a saver tab,
and also ran Winter Snow as the mentioned dynamic dream,
however, I do not see a button to add a saver anywhere,
only a remove button, check the screenshot:

On a side note, can Dream Manager change the settings of a Dynamic Dream?

Looks like a few things missing, could the the WindowBlind your using is messing up some of the controls. Try restarting Dream Manager or disabling the WindowBlind.

Tried that, no joy.
Also tried:
Added a per application setting, to stop Dream Manager from being skinned.
Tried several different skins, finally disabled completely and went to Windows Classic.
Uninstalled Dream Manager completely, and reinstalled in a different folder than Program Files,
updated, added per application setting.
All of the above spread over several reboots,
no change whatsoever.

Found the bug, it's because your not running Ultimate. I will fix it in 1.1.6 so keep a look out for an pndate early next week.

Roger that, thanks a bunch!
By the way, I DO have Ultimate,
just that I got pi$$ed that a week after I paid 179 Euro for it,
I read that Windows 7 will be out early 2009...!
So I didn't bother installing it, and besides, doing so on Sony Laptops is a gamble.
[EDIT]
I wonder if I could find some blockhead to take it off my hands on eBay...
[EDIT 2]
how'd you know I wasn't running Ultimate?
I don't recall saying I wasn't...
[EDIT 3]
Just like to say, the dimmer is an excellent touch,
very nicely done!
[EDIT 4]
If you need a beta-tester for the XP version, let me know.
I run Vista on my Laptop, and XP on my Desktop,
so I can do comparisons.
[EDIT 5]
I wonder how many Edits I can sneak in before anybody notices...
[EDIT 6]
Lots I'll bet!
[EDIT 7]
Just one more edit, coz Six sounds too much like S(censored)x,
and some of us are single!

Because the missing add button bug is only caused when not running Ultimate.

Cool! I don't run dreams often, they seem to slow my system down. I need more ram.

If you enable screen saver mode, there should be a new screen saver tab that has an add button that allows you to add screen savers. It doesn't automatically go and find them.
