What items are being tested.

Hi

I am here testing Fences, and was wondering if anything else was being,

Alpha/beta tested?

That's the only preview release that's going on right now.  However, Object Desktop subscribers do get access to beta builds of many of the software components.

I posted a question about Fences once and never recieved any replies, so I'll repost i here...

Greetings,

I just stumbled upon your Fences side project and find myself intrigued. I don't, however, have a single desktop icon. Mine are all located in my three Object Docks. (I like to see my Vrtual Desktops, all 16 of them. Ooo... by the way, is there a way to get them to open at start up randomly). My real question is would Fences be of any use to me at all. If so, would I be able to have different Fence arrangements, on different Virtual Desktops, or would they all have the same Fence layout. I quess thats it for now, Thanks.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

maybe I can get my questions answered by ya'll. Once again, thanks.

Fences would easily replace Object Dock in function and form to a much lesser degree.

The way many of us have been using Fences is with Object Dock running still. You use Object Dock to link to your .exe files while you create desk top arrangements for your folders and files. This makes it easy to often save all files and downloads to the same directories. As for different fences per desktop I'm not sure but I will try it out on my Vista install in the morning.
