Monday, October 20, 2008 by theAVMAN | Discussion: Object Desktop
I recently got a new harddrive and Vista so I can dual boot XP and Vista, defaultly the stardock software goes to public documents .I am sure I have seen other posts about this (although I could not find them) is it possible to have Wblinds and IP and deskscapes etc.. store and look in a different part of the hard drive for skins my partition sizes are not allowing me much room in the Vista partion?
Thank you A/V

What I did (at one point) was to set the public and user directories in Vista and XP to teh same location. It actually worked out better for me since "my documetns" were the same no matter which OS is was using.

There is always a danger in registry tweaks adn I am not sure this is how I did it before. I THINK so but am not sure.
