How do I upgrade?

I have a brand new laptop with Vista. i have Windowblinds 4. I am going to upgrade to 6 and pay the extra cost but do I need to iinstall Version 4 on my new, clean machine first? (Don't want to if I don't have to.) THX

I lost 30 or so points last week. Oh well. I wasn't using them anyway.

Install Impulse. It's a store and digital distribution system.
On the first tab (Store) purchase WindowBlinds
It will then show up on the MyDesktop tab.
