Deskscape v2 internal player randomly stops, wont resume

Funny problem. I bought the asteroids dream the other day and I find it really relaxing.. I've got it set to use the internal player which, I assume, is better than the Vista internal player.
Anyways, having played spore for a while, openned and closed SecureCRT + firefox a couple of times, the wallpaper is completely dead. I cant right click on the desktop to pause/resume the dream.
I eventually have to load up the Background wallpaper changer applet and untick internal player, hit ok, wait 5 seconds and it restarts again. I can also fix it by selecting a different dream, wait the 5 seconds and then re-select the asteriods theme.
Is there a nice reason for this? I've been having this problem for a while with deskscapes v2 so I assume its not Vista SP level or driver versions...
The PC is a Dell XPS 1730 with oodles of ram and the video cards not set in SLI.

Ahh awesome. The language of just "Use internal player" got me alittle confused. It should read "Use Vista Original Player" or "Dont use dreamscenes optimized player that you paid money for to display this wallpaper" or some such.
Thanks!

The internal player is the stock Microsoft Vista media player that come with Vista Ultimate. DeskScapes will use Stardocks if you uncheck that box.
The only differance I see is using Stardocks gives you a better choice of positioning than the internal player. I run Stardocks and have had no problems with lock ups.
