WHICH VISTA PROGRAM IS IT. I USUALLY GET THIS WHEN USING A WINDOWBLINDS THEME. TO MAKE IT SIMPLE YOU HAVE TO USE THE WINDOWS VISTA AERO BUILT IN THEME IN THE PERSONALISE PAGE. IF THAT DOESNT WORK, WHAT VERSION HAVE YOU GOT? AM NOT A COMPUTER EXPERT BUT LEARNING FAST. BEEN USING STARDOCK, WINCUSTOMIZE FOR A WHILE.

Quasy and Gilbertratchet: I've had problems with this happening as well and someone here on the forums gave me the info. You need to go to the Microsoft Management Console, then to services, scroll down to desktop windows manager and click on where it says start (or restart if it is stopped). To simplify things for myself when this happens (which on my machine is frequently for some reason), I "pinned" services in the Start menu so I can access the MMC and Services quickly and easily. Hope this helps.
