That's the way I feel about it! Cursorxp worked fine with xp and veesta. I quit cfx because when I save as the changes don't show up on the cursor menu(the main screen). I will be making all cursors with cxp, but that's OK because they work with cfx.
NewbieDeb, all my cursors are cxp except Bone Head cfx but you gota be kinda wild and crazy to like my cursors.

I've not seen it reported in the forums so I suspect it's an issue with my PC. (

I prefer CursorXP becasue for me it's so much easier to make a new cursor, like while you're seeing the preview of the cursor, since all the animations appear at one, you can't really see them all and if it's not a looping animation you have to go back and click on the preview button again to see every one of them. There's also the important part that you can't use cursorfx files on cursorxp, and since I personally don't want to loose or let down people who download my stuff I prefer making them as a .curxptheme. Also I did not like that you can't open a cursorfx file in winzip or winrar to convert it to curxptheme. But anyways, those are just some details I see but the whole new interface is very cool and I'm sure it has a lot of other great stuff, I do have it though but for those reasons I just can't change to FX.

And we are eternally grateful for this.

I 2nd Bebi Bulma's 'eternally grateful'...

Also, it's nice to know I'm not the only one who doesn't care for the inability to open CFX files in winzip or winrar.
Plus, on the Pro version, I'd really like it if the editor was fully functional. Like, for instance, would allow you to recolor and resize on a permanent basis. Really bugs me to have to tweak my settings on a cursor set every time I change one for a preview...

I agree, and the crashing thing is also true, but that's because there's an animation script that is too saturated (it can be fixed) but yeah FX supports you a little more on that. Both programs are great but everyone has their own likes.

That's right! Now I remember, that's how I fixed it. Smoked too much..never mind.
Ya know what would be nice? A script format like Basic:
Dim scene1
1-5,20
5-1,20
End
Dim scene2
14-20,80
16-18,10
End
Do
For x=1 to 6
scene1
Next x
scene2
Loop
Something like that.

I am running CursorXP plus, but all that shows up for gallery download is CursorFX's. I can not get CursorFX cursors with CursorXP. What did I do wrong and HOW do I fix it.
I guess I've been using CursorXP for so long and I have (had) so many cursors downloaded that I didn't want to switch.
PLUS, I really didn't know that FX was susposed to be an 'upgrade' to xp. I actually thought it was the other way. I too am running Vista and xp works fine - except I cant seem to find the cursors anymore.
One thing I did notice, is Trails. I can't have trailers when I tried fx.
