Before I do all of the above , I have a coupla questions for you ..
1 . I have a huge amount of skins in my windowblinds folder .. will I lose them , or ~
2 . Do I have to move them manually to another location before I uninstall ..?
3. Will I have to re-enter my OD number to reinstall ?
4. ~ and generally , If it was indeed a bad update install ... why was it made public .. ?

2. No
3. No, as long as already registered thru Impulse.
4. There was a update for MyColors, that messed with WB.

Seems this is very difficult way for a non professional user...
I had the same problems after each of WB updates. And not only this... I was so disturbed that disabled WB in the Windows Services and don't use it nearly half of year.
Now I only download and install the updates (to not lag behind the progress

Vad, using WB on Vista, my system, also.. fast as a bullet... Installing correctly..on a decent system and following correct procedures you should have no problems, I never do. Perhaps you should try a clean install, Thinking of you using stock Vista is almost more strain for me than I can bear..

Great! I love Hard Rock in general BUT... Disco is one of my Favourite Styles too. So I have listened this song with the big pleasure.
Excuse me for off topic too...

Sorry I don't see this...
I have Vista Ultimate that I bought directly in USA together with IBM ThinkPad (for a long time I work only on IBM PC)
I like how WB works on XP. However I found several problems on Vista. First of all - the problems on update and the appreciable increase of boot time. But the most negative thing is that I can't recolor some GUI areas. For example - TreeView on the left of Windows Explorer is always white...
I hate any unfinished works. But I can't finish my WB skin for Vista because of this problem. All backgrounds must be in gray metal (with gradient) and any white areas are as a Cataract on my eye...
I love WB! However I temporarily disabled it and will wait until Stardock allow me to recolor all that I want.

I think for those not running MyColors, the bad update may have crossed over for WB.
