Disable Sounds?

I'm using Window blinds 6.1 and would like to disable the sounds in the skin I'm using (GT3).  I've unchecked the box on the default settings page labled "Play sounds defined by the skin (if any) but the sounds still play.  I tried rebooting to see if that would help.  I also tried loading a new skin and then swapping back to this one but nothing seems to help.  Does the feature just not work?  As far as I can see no one else is asking about this, so maybe I'm the only one having the problem.  If it matters, I'm on XP.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I've had the same problem. The only solution I could find was to actually go into the skin folder and delete the sound files.

Bebi, thanks for a simple and extremely effective solution to my problem! I opted to create a new subdirectory and copy the offending files just in case I ever want them again but I didn't even realize that the sound files were sitting there for easy removal until I read your post. I only discovered WB less than a week ago and still have a lot to learn. Thanks again for your speedy reply!
