Promblem applying suites ?!?!?!?

when i apply a suite the only thing that is wrong when it is finished is that i cannot see the start button (applications ignore it and overlap it) also i cannot see any exit or maximize or minimize buttons when i open up programs and such. could some1 plz help me with this promblem ?!?
