A weekend full of ads...

Please tell me the Big Dogs will be in tomorrow and make the ads go away...Ads everywhere, all weekend...Every page, ads...No more ads...Please

I was just seeing placeholders for what would be ads (since I block everything anyway), so I tried to log out and log back in (through the forums), but when I tried logging back in I kept getting this:
LOGIN FAILED: Your account has not been validated! Before you can logon using your account you must verify that you have a real email address. When you signed up for your account an email was sent to you with a link that you need to click on to validate your account. Once your account has been validated you will be able to logon.
If you no longer have this email click here to have a new validation email sent to you.
And then when I tried to get it resent (for the hell of it) got this:
ADODB.Recordset error '800a0e7d'
The connection cannot be used to perform this operation. It is either closed or invalid in this context.
/sdnet_login.asp, line 1138
I had to login from the home page to get it to work.

OK so...After much frustration, I think I figured out what it is...My WC subscription has run out! DOH!

I dunno where you were logging in from, but that isn't the forums or www.wincustomize.com. Besides, that's way bloody off topic. If you have an issue to report, create a new thread. Sheesh.

I got that error when I clicked on the link to resend the activation (that I got from the forums page) and it took me to the stardock site where I entered my email address and pressed submit.

Getting ads right now both IE7 and FF3rc for the last 20 minutes.[Edit] It's Friday. Ads and spam for breakfast.

though it's irritating especially as I am a subscriber, I have learned to live with it.don't like it but live with it.
