Hi,
Is Windows Blinds 6.0 working with Windows Server 2008 ?
I want to build up a Desktopsystem with Server 2008 and love to use Themes ![]()

After a few settings, you can use Server 2008 as a Desktop environment.
You can use the Desktop-themes-service under Server 2008 and apply the Vista-Theme (thats why i hope that WindowsBlinds will work)
A secound point for me is that i am not owning a copy of Vista and dont want to buy (not now) it. You can download and test Server 2008 for 240 days, thats why i want to give Server 2008 a chance ^^
I will try it out tomorrow...

Also in the past I've understood that a server should not use themes or for that matter...
Support using themes.
To my knowledge Windowblinds 6 does not work with Server 2008.
Depending on what you have in mind. There are other ways to accomplish this with a OS enviroment setup for such. A server is not meant to be used as a desktop enviroment. That brings in security risk to your system doing such.
That is why I ask at what role is the server in question set for useage.
