What the?

Hello. When i dowload a desktopX thing and use it. All my icons just Poof! disspear, so whats the point of DesktopX if you need to cancel the whole procces when every you want your icons back? Or am i just doing this wrong?

destop? taskbar? both?
point is dtx themes look better without the desktop icons
for desktop icons:
you can:
get to your desktop folder via the start menu
use a shortcut in the dtx theme to open the desktop folder
put a shortcut in the dtx theme to open the desktop folder
switch to builder mode, configure the theme to show the desktop icons

I dowloaded several. But this is the one i want - https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=3844&libid=31 or maybe this one https://www.wincustomize.com/zoom.aspx?skinid=3840&libid=31 It does´t really matter sents the same thing happens to everything, EVERYTHING disspears.
When i´ve got a deskop folder and tryed to put the icons from there to the new deskopX theme. But that didn´t work. It got al weird -n- stuff.
But what am i suppose to do without icons? I cant acces EVERYTING from My computer yunno.

Those artists built their desktops without icons. It's an option.

Find another theme or customize these for yoru own use.

K, Im sorry thats the only option, sents I´ve had the problem with everything i´ve dowloaded.

SSDDDX leaves the desktop icons - bunches of them do
after switching to builder mode, right click the tray icon and choose configure builder
on the 2nd tab, uncheck 'hide the desktop icons' click apply and ok , right click the systray icon and save the desktop

The author may have set it up that way with an alternate way to access the desktop icons.
