screensavers ??

none of the screensavers that have exe. won't work for me. the screensavers that have just the file does. the ones with the exe. is in my system32 folder but when i select it in my screensaver options, then go back and check, it is set back to none. the other screensavers without the exe. works fine..do i need something from stardock or something?.........thanks

yes, i ran the auto installer. it is the vertigo funhouse and the alpha galaxy. neither one will work. the thunderstorm one works fine. just the ones with exe.installer doesn't work. they....thanks

still didn't get funhouse to work. when going into system32 folder then clicking on funhouse, then it worked but not from screensaver window. anyway, can anyone say junk files or malware! i tried deleting vertigofunhouse but its main folder"axialis" would not delete. it kept reappearing after reboot. you really have to comb the registry to get rid of this folder and left overs. i reinstalled vertigo funhouse screensaver. i then downloaded a program called revo-uninstaller. it uninstalls programs plus shows you the path in the registry where the rest of the files are and gives you the option to get rid of the left overs which the default add & remove didn't get rid of the first time. now the folder and files are now gone. end of story....

That's odd. I've had both of those for months with no problems,musta been a bum download or some other issue. adni18 made AlphaGalaxy along with other WC goodies, none of it "junk files or malware" If you got those here,the chance of malware is slim to none.

junk "axialis" was only with funhouse. but the alpha galaxy didn't work for me.
does someone have just the .scr file of vertigo funhouse?....thanks
