By OEM do you mean the Dell,HP whatever bootscreen, then the XP bootscreen skinned by Bootskin, if so this is proper. If you mean you see the XP bootscreen, then the Bootskin one after a second or so this is also proper, just the way it is. It may be best to uninstall StyleXP if you want to use Stardock's Bootskin as it may cause issues.

still got to bootscreens showing up?
did you set back to default before uninstalling?

Bootskin is bootskin . . sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it works wonderfully and sometimes . . well . . sometimes it just works.
