My question has to do with my impression that a new version of IP was released that had a new looking user interface...looks similar to the interface of Window Blinds. This new IP allows for recoloring of complete Packages. My current IP is 3.99.143(x86) 2007. I just installed a new update thinking that would be it but no luck. Is there such a version of IP & if so how do I update to it. My year subscription to Object Desktop is current. Thanks.

I followed the thread on the release of OD 2008 & found that I had to install IP from Impulse to get the new Interface. Uninstalling IP from SDC & reinstalling IP will not give me the new interface eventhough the version is the latest one. So luckily the link for Impulse was posted in the thread, I beleive by you Zubaz, So I downloaded & installed Impulse...then uninstalled & reinstalled IP from Impulse & I got the new interface. So now I will just use Impulse insteas of SDC. Not sure if I should remove the previous version of SDC or just keep both?

Duke261 you can keep both on your system. I use Impulse also, but it is nice to have a fall back if something does happen with Impulse. Impulse is still not final yet which is another reason to keep SDC around.
It has been mention in several posts that all though Impulse is meant to replace SDC, SDC is not going away anytime soon.

... and as it not enough to get a wrong IconPackager installation, ODNT tells me "excessive activation have been reached ..." 
here's the mail i send to support @ stardock:

Again, i've got a message "maximum activation reached" or something like that when trying to install a correct version of IconPackager (Note that IP V 3.99.143 is still with the old graphic interface and that previous version in new one does not allow me to change language. I resume: V 3.99.143 ==> old interface with french / V 3.99d[ b ].062 or previous ==> new interface but can't apply french language or any other one ...)
I'm really board off these troubles coming with activation specially for ODNT subscribers which by definition are there to test and install / uninstall application more than non ODNT users ... It would be time to consider that point and make something different ...

BTW, if someone from Wincustomize permanence could do the re-activation before the end off Week-end and before the support team receive and treat the problem it would be kind ...

I download ip 3.99.144 and it works fine im my Xp.
But i dont find the setting of change the icon file size ( 48*48 or 128*128 )

neophil, how many times do you uninstall/reinstall softwares or reformat your PC?
since i'm an ODNT sub i reformated my PCs twice and almost never unsinstalled/reinstalled the soft from SD. Just WB6 when was the first Beta (twice) and DX (once). I reached activation limite only one time.

I think last time was on july last year, but uninstall/reinstall Stardock softwares much more times (specially WB and IconPackager ...)
