Dream scapes
new vid card not working

I presently upgraded to vista and had purchased deskscapes which worked fine but today got a new nvidia graphics card GeForce 8500 GT and now can’t load any animated wall paper I am using v2.0 any clue what I can do to get it running again?

If you supply details of your problem with your system specs, someone other than support may be able to help fix your problem. There's a lot of knowledgeable people on these forums that may have had the same issue and may know the cure.

It has come up before that nView from nvidia has caused problems. Look and see if it's enabled and shut it down and see if that doesn't clear it up.

Did you uninstall the previous video card drivers prior to installing your new card?
If not, you needed to uninstall them even if they were nvidia drivers.
What drivers did you install for the new card?
If you installed what came with the new card or Microsoft's default nvidia drivers, you may want to uninstall and try these new beta Nvidia drivers that were relesed on 3/27/08.
Every time you swap a video card make sure to fully uninstall all video drivers that you have installed prior to installing new ones.
BTW, I am using the new beta 32bit drivers and they are working great for me.
