Well I had that pretty much the same way but the forum updates that Andrew did this week cleared them up. How are you getting to WC, Impulse, SDC or other browser. Like they always say, clean cookies and clean out all browser history. I even downloaded CCleaner, have other cleaners installed but had to try something.

Did it just start for you? I'm using Impulse and don't see any ads.   I know, they do get annoying when you subscribe so you wouldn't have to see them.

I'm using IE7, Philly.

And it comes and goes sporadically. Clearing cookies, etc. does nothing. Just in the last several minutes, as I was checking several threads, responding to one and going back to the forum main page, they are there, then they're not, then back again.

They do seem to show up mainly on the main forum page ... but not always.

I just noticed I'm also seeing those underlined words that give you a popup when you mouse over them.



Does anyone know if the Sponsor ads have started? Whenever I see the ad at the top of the page, the Sponsor ad is always at the side.

If there is no ad at the top, I don't see the Sponsor ad.

I don't think so, but I also don't that the subscribers were supposed to see them, could be wrong about that.

Everything that you say you are having trouble with is what was happening to me. They said they found a bug and that was the reason for the forum updates. I wonder if there is something in the server (virus or whatever) that is somehow random in affecting the users. I suppose it could happen. I'm still not having any problems. Going to sign in using IE7 and see what happens.

EDIT: Just tried IE7, didn't see any ads. Maybe the servers need a good cleaning.

I'm not only getting ads at SDC. The status bar says I'm logged in, My WB6 is registered as is my WC sub. However, it still says I am a guest,which would explain the ads. I only use SDC for updates anyway,so I can tough it out 'til Impulse is ready, which sounds like a major step forward. I get lost at SDC to easily,anyway.lol

Now the ads disappeared. I think we might have someone working on the forums and not saying so, or not.

Oops, my goof. Are we talking only about the WC site? I've got no problem with them here,only at SDC.Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Wizard1956 now you have my interest up, where on SDC are you seeing ads? Could you do a Screenshot?
