maximum activation reached

Tuesday, March 25, 2008 by nicholas scarlett | Discussion: Object Desktop

I,this is my first post in the forum and i know that everyone here is quick on assisting so here goes.
My Object Desktop was purchase by a friend last September I've never had a problem and i dual boot Vista and XP,anyway after a fresh installation of the each OS i cant seem to activate Windowblinds manually or by auto keeps telling me "mamximum activation reached" but everything else is ok and that is only on vista b4 SP1 and after,on XP everything works.
I would ove to get some help with this because i cant do without windowblinds and yes i've tried Impulse and SDC same thing.

I reside in Jamaica and dont have a US credit card and instead of piracy i begged the friend who is also a costumer to purchase it,is that so bad i really love the hard work everyone here puts in and the 50USD is more of an insult to the perfection here and when expired I'm asking my friend again, thanks

If your friend is using the same purchased copy then yes that is the same as 'piracy'. If he purchased another one for you to use then that is OK.

No need for a credit card as there are other options for purchasing Windowblinds.  Sales FAQ's

There is likely a queue from over the holidays.

you can try to find someone in #stardock on irc.stardock.com but it's lat-ish in the day for them.

lgspence-

Please note that when you resend a request you are extending the time to reply as the original time is automatically reset to the latest request. This being a long holiday weekend the number of requests will take longer to process.

I forwarded your activation request to support and you should be OK now.

Hey highlander, I also have an maximum activations problem after I uninstalled & reinstalled Windowblinds because it has been giving me lots of problems. Can you clear mine?
I sent an email to stardock support last night. I've been a stardock customer for years.
