desktopX crashes after update to win vista service pack 1

hi
i installed the win vista SP1 today, and since then, desktopX crashes when its started.
so, don't mak the same mistake as me until there is a fix for that!
and if anybody got a solution to this problem, please let me know

Hi,I also have a similar effect,after install of SP1 the clocks in my color also will not work,they are made with desktop x,so I believe they are all related.

There was a work around for RC SP1. I'm not sure if it works for the final of SP1 though.
The work around assumes you have disabled UAC so turn UAC back on and try DesktopX. If it works you can install Tweak Vista and set it to not prompt you for UAC elevation.
