DesktopX crashes

Hi all,
I've installed the free trial version of DesktopX today, but every time i launch any applications from my desktopX folder it just crashes. I'm using windows XP on a acer laptop. Could someone help me pls?

nope, if i launch it , it just shows a crashes dialogue (the one u can hit send or don't send, or so)
Allso, if i apply a bootskin, my comp wont startup, after the launching screen it just restarts with the options of Save start, Save start with network,... Maybe its the same reason like this? Windowblinds does work and some years ive installed a earlier version of DesktopX and that did work.

any theme, even if i launch a simple widget or object it shows the "the send or Do not send" dialogue

Look in Control Panel/ Administrative tools/ Event Viewer/ Application and System Errors; what module faulted DX?

i didnt found the system errors so i formatted my C drive and installed destkopX, now it runs but i got some questions about downloading themes/skins, allmost none of them work, sometimes the object/widget,... is it because the resolutions? Thx

are you trying resolution independent themes?
does your resolution match the resolution of the theme you're trying if it isn't resolution independent?
