Finish The Sentence.

The rules:
I'll start a sentence with a word (one word only) and the next poster will finish the sentence. Then, on a new line, that poster will start a new sentence with one word (one word only please). The finished sentence can be as long as it needs to be in order to complete the sentence, however, make sure it's only one sentence. Here we go.

Common garden snail and slugs are known to eat cabbages, thus reducing crops for curried cabbage... I wish they'd leave the cabbages alone and eat lettuce
instead.

Instead of leaving them alone, millions of WC members around the world started breeding snails to ship to Brisbane Australia to any known location where Starkers could possibly grow, collect, purchase cabbage in order that the forums and galleries would once again be safe to inhabit...except for Quentin, who was last seen retrieving his parcel of snails from the post box and wandering back inside towards the kitchen with a bottle of virgin olive oil, some garlic...butter and chopped
