Skins Made From I.R. Braniac's No Load Limit Graphics
Thursday, February 28, 2008 by zakai1369 | Discussion: Sneak Previews
So being that I.R. was gracious enough to give his graphics to the community. Figured I'd start a thread to see what people are working on with them.
Myself so far I generally try making my own OD bgs and Xion skins.
Figuring that WebGizmos and messiah1 would probably jump right on the OD bgs (and do a much better job at them), I decided to do a Xion skin. So here is what I have so far:
" align="baseline" />
And I have alot more to do to it.
As always criticism is welcomed.
Thanks to I.R. for letting us all take a crack at using his graphics.
Cant wait to see what other people are working on.

That looks pretty neat but one suggestion...if you work with a live photoshop doc...the global lights, shadows and layerstyles remain active.
That means you can duplicate something like that chevron, flip it(like you did),and the lighting and shadows remain true to the image as a whole.(instead of lite coming from all crazy directions)(which happens if you just flip something that has been flattened and pasted and flipped,or reversed)
Then you REALLY look like you know what you are doing. So have fun...I'm really looking forward to seeing what skinners come up with.
Nobody needs my permission to upload...its all on YOU.hehehehehehe
Dont worry about breaking something...if you mess up...redownload the file.

That it is. But it makes it a good tool for those who are new at this to be able to see how things are done to get the different effects.

The CLOSE text is a mouse-over effect along with the glow around the upper right white button.
And as some people will probably think this is to bulky, I also have a couple ideas for different smaller versions in the works.
Any criticism/comments are appreciated.
"/>Edit: Thinking about putting the time on the bottom bar also due to the fact it is so small in the upper box. Opinions?
