cursor FX high CPU usage

anyone else getting this?
every time I move my mouse, the CPU usage shoots up to around 40%

Version: CursorFX Plus 2.00.004 (latest build installed via SDC)
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate (also tested with Vista home premium)
Theme: Dallas Mavericks (installed via MyColors)
Cursor: Hand (Bundled by default with CFX+)

Please post version of CFX, OS, cursor.

I got rid of the disappearance but still have the jumping and now the higher CPU usage. It runs from 10% - 15% consistently and for this machine that is a lot.
