Wednesday, February 13, 2008 by MIkele di Sagitter | Discussion: ObjectDock

Hi everybody I've some problem with Object dock

1)Doesn't run at startup even if option in main page "Run at startup" is flagged
2)When activated the left-top part of my screen is unaviable. if I click right it gives me the objectdock menu (I repeat I am in the top-right part of my screen, not in bottom where bar is)

Thank you for help

Hi MIkele di Sagitter

Please just post ONE thread regarding your problem. Multiple posting is not necessary. I have deleted your other one, so hopefully you will receive some answers to your problem in this one.

Thanks

Check under Positioning to see if the "Reserve edge of screen" isn't check. That could be the problem with the top left of your screen. Not sure why it isn't running at startup though.

Manually copy a shortcut into your Start Menu > Startup directory

To do this open the Start Menu and got to Stardock and find the Object Desktop Shortcut. Right-click on the shortcut and select "Copy" from the menu. Move to the Startup section, right click and choose paste. Restart tour computer and it should work. If not let us know.

I have the same issue with "Run at startup" option.

I solved it that by keeping the option flagged and adding a new shortcut for OD at my startup folder.

If I'm reading this correctly, you have it set as a drawer at the bottom of the screen but when you click on the desktop near the top of your screen your drawer pops up? If that's correct, check your Hotspots. Look at your image you posted, its right under General. Hotspots can be setup anywhere, regardless of where the dock actually resides.
