I have the freeware version of cfx installed. If I get the shareware version, do I have to uninstall the freeware version first, or can i just install over the free version?
Thanx to all who reply.

rustysam, just visited the Stardock CursorFX page, there is a free version and Plus version which is $19.95 US. I see no mention of a shareware version. Where are you finding this?

Sorry Philly0381. My error. I really meant the plus version.
Thanx.

Okay, in that case I would uninstall the free version, some folks may say not to. Use SDC to uninstall, you don't have to uninstall the themes. Reboot and install once again using SDC. Don't forget to use SDC to register the Plus version. Reboot again after installing the Plus version.

That's how I would do it. I had CXP Plus, so I went from that to CFX Plus with the discount. The current released version seems to have fix most bugs. If you are just a normal user you shouldn't have problems. People running tablets and doing some other stuff are still having some problems.

You should uninstall the free version, and then install the Plus version.
