make sure you uninstall the trial version before you install the full version. Otherwise there will be a conflict.

Back up your skins first to avoid downloading them again!

Download and install Stardock Central. You will be able to install Windowblinds from there.

I take it from the original poster that he has un-installed the 'trial version'
Have uninstalled trial version after subscribing got wincustomize browser now what do i use to view and install my themes.
and is asking where to install the full version. For that it would be a good idea to use Stardock Central.

kennyjck, althought you can get WindowBlinds loaded without using Stardock Central, I would follow the advice of Hankers. It's free, doesn't take up much space and provides things like update notifications so you know that you have the current version of your software. It takes all the questions out of updating and makes it some much easier. Also, if later on you decide to purchase additional software from Stardock all of you information about expiration dates and registering your products is handled through SDC. You can trust Hankers.

WindowBlinds is to View and install THEMES or just click on the .Wba to install

StarDock Central is just to update or install Programs, but is not needed (to update or install Programs) NOT to View Themes or Change Themes

what do i use to see my new themes and configure them.

DisturbedComputer well that's what I said, didn't I?

At any rate more times than not installation of WB's as a stand alone program has caused some folks problems. Installing thru SDC is a much better choice. Always good to give all options so the individual can make their own choices.

kenny, if you had Stardock Central, you could just open it up and *POOF* it would be listed under Object Desktop.....

It's my understanding that the ONLY way to update Stardock software is to use SCD. None of the SD programs have a 'check for updates' menu selection, or update button anywhere. It's how SD protects itself from pirates. Arg matey! Now only if I had a pirate icon.

Insightful

then into my reply (to use WB's interface) would be Theme Manager

--------------

SDC Has Nothing to do with
what do i use to see my new themes and configure them.

like I side the WHOLE time is you have to use WindowBlind INTERFACE to apply a theme (SKIN) or to view them.. YOU CAN NOT USE SDC

---------------

now if you did not install SDC
check your E-mail their maybe a link to the enhanced WB
or you may have to request for it..

that is how my brother got WB_Enhanced when he had some individual Programs from Stardock
without using SDC

DisturbedComputer -

We are all trying to help this user. Understanding what he actually has installed on his computer determines what approach we take to solving his issue.

For some we believe he doesn't have WindowBlinds installed as he has stated he has uninstalled the trial version. In his other post today it seems that he doesn't have Windowblinds and that he probably purchased a Wincustomize subscription instead.

If he had purchased Windowblinds as initially thought then the recommendation to install Windowblinds using Stardock Central was the correct approach. Once installed then loading the skins would have been as you suggested.

This is not a contest to see who is right and who is wrong. Getting the user up and running is the only priority here.

Sounds like he either hasnt actually bought windowblinds(by mistakenly buying a wincustomise sub) or hasnt entered his registration info into SDC.

contact stardock support and they will help you get what you paid for...or maybe even switch products for you if you bought the wrong product.

Wow, I guess sometimes I should just be an observer and reader here in the forums.

Now what did I do with that Dunce Hat?
