Skinners, Artists, Coders, and Testers Needed: Community Suite
Happy Birthday!!

After the success on the Troll Thumping Day Suite some members of the Mother Thumpers are coming together to create the "Happy Birthday Suit(e)".
I envision this suite centered around a DX gadget that counts down to your birthday. On your birthday the gadget will prompt you to download the most recent incarnation of the suite components so for your special day, your desktop will celebrate with you.
At this point we have some components assigned to artists but this is a collaborative project and welcome input and assistance from everyone. Please jump in and help out if you'd like.

I scoured the entire thread, got some of the art work (thanks to the artists--if you'd rather I not use your work, please let me know) and this is what I've come up with now.

RomanDA still needs the final image (animated png?) for the countdown. Would like to get this one done, as im going to be gone for a while out of town.

My Rendering engine on my laptop has been flakey this week but I am at home now and I will do it on my other PC!

I don't know much about .dreams, either. I'm still on XP, so I haven't even examined what dreams do or how to create them, but I think you're right...I should probably get the Wallpaper from the dream and Vista Logon to keep the continuity of things going. Thanks for the input...I'll work on that when I get off of work in another oh....9 hours, and will post the results when finished (this project has me burning some crazy early morning hours--I have no idea why creativity decreases my need for sleep so much).

By Jove, I think I've got it!
I used the wallpaper that was used for the dream and the Vista Logon, I tweaked the music a little to get rid of a nasty buzz in the birthday song that is being sung by the group of people, and I added a nice little shred guitar version, too.

I think it's done. I'm going to submit it like this, because I'm afraid that if I play with it anymore, it's going to get too busy and bloated. I wanted to keep it kind of simple and clean.
OH, and yes, 2of3, those are your balloons, and I thank you for creating them.

Just applied it to my PC, looks great & sounds great too! I think it's about done! ZubaZ, you're gonna need to update that list again... And I also think that the countdown gadget is about finished too! Great jobs everybody!

Here is the last beta, check it out, let me know if its ok, if there are any problems, if all looks good i iwll upload it this week.
NOTE: If you used the previous betas, please find the "\my documents\CommunityBday.ini" file, and delete it.

Nice screensaver! Might want to use some of theAVMAN's images like I did in the Xion skin though. Provide an email and theAVMAN or I will get them to you ASAP. Great work!
