Does that mean I can't post a Bryce render as a wallpaper?? I've started on a wallpaper that I would eventually like to turn into an entire skin and theme, but if Bryce renders are a no no ... then I'll stop now.

Bryce itself is an ok product in the right hands. It's just that it has just been (mis)used to create the same thing a billion times over and the mere mention of the name makes some people's skin crawl.
Keep at it. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Learn something new every day.
What do you want to bet that my effort ends up with a PPE award??

Then you can leave a link to the wallpaper in you logon description. You'll get plenty of downloads

Also .... I just discovered Contextfree. It is a wonderful program for making wild abstracts.

Granted, there aren't a whole lot of purely abstract pieces that I'm partial to (or, rather "to which I am partial" ... mom was an English teacher for a while in her youth).
I used Contextfree to make some trees for my first submission to the gallery today. Of course, it probably won't be selected to go in the gallery, but hey, I like it.

I did submit a wallpaper today. It wasn't the kitty ... it was sort of a Tim Burton style thingie. It's sort of odd .... I got an upload notice that it had been accepted (or something like that), but it never appeared in the main gallery, so I guess I now qualify for a PPE award.
Anyone wants to take a look at it and razz me to death about it ... here's the link:

I used Contextfree for the trees. It really is a fun fractal program.

Well, I like it!
Now if I could only download it!

Erg ... well, here's another link. Maybe you can get it here ... that is if you really like it. I would be nice if somebody liked it. The cats think it's crap, but then they think all of my artwork is crap. In fact, they think anything without a Fancy Feast label on it is crap.
