Stardock should hurry up?

Monday, January 21, 2008 by Wiseppi | Discussion: WindowFX

Well, i think that stardock should release ASAP the new WindowFX version for VISTA, considering that a new windows ( windows 7) is announced and will be released in 2009.
So the point is, Win Xp users have enjoyed WindowFX for several years... Vista users not... and if Stardock doesnt release soon a new WindowFX, Vista users will have less time to enjoy WindowFX because Windows 7 will be released and Stardock will need to make a new code for a new WindowsFX compatible w/ Win7

Thats my point of view....

Stardock shouel release WindowsFX for Vista when it's ready.  Releasign it any earlier would cause more problems than it would solve.

Look at Vista . . I think more people wish now that MS would have held out releasing it until it was more done.

Personally, I wouldn't be holding my breath for that.

Oh, they'll probably get something else out in the next couple of years. You can charge for new versions, can't really charge for patches/updates/service packs. Question is, How much cash does a person want to pay out over a lifetime for the "joys" of new operating systems?

Yes, that are the people that do not have Vista and just are saying things they heard from others.
Vista is much, much better than all previous OS from Microsoft. I don't understand what people are talking about - slow? not true! Difficult? Not true! Problems with rights? They are built in with a purpose. Don't like the purpost, then disable all checks on rights!

I loved WinFX and used it a lot when I had XP. But, due to too many bugs in it I had to abandon the program. Now with Vista I would love to use it again. Since Vista has a completely different graphics system all stuff that WinFX was made for has been made much easier. So, why is there still no WinFX for Vista?
Must be due to all those games that Stardock is making. But, I do not want those games! I want WB, WinFX, CursorXP, etc.

I think you will find that Stardocks efforts are normally put where they will bring the most value to it's members. That's why work is going into getting out programs like Object Desktop 2008 first while still not ignoring the other programs.

Patience is a virtue that more people should try to aspire to.

that is completely untrue, stardock is working hard to make all their products vista compatible. do you think they can just wave a magic wand and all of a sudden everything
will suddenly start working?.

things like this take time, unless you want stardock to release a half finished piece of shit that only works half the time.

all good things come to those that wait

Yeah, Like Vista. Had it. Went back to XP. Sorry. I like an operating system that works. XP works for me.

i don't think microsoft is gonna release a OS that fast since vista was only released almost a year ago...i would much rather have them fully debug the hell out of the new OS before sending it out on store shelves LOL last thing we need is more headaches...hopefully they will be a 64 bit of the new OS...32 bit blows big time...the whole time running vista ultimate x64 i've rarely had any problems with it...
