The Air is nice, but it really doesn't impress me much. I have a hard time working on these small screen laptops, that's why I bought a 17" one.

Yeah, and have you seen the specs and components for the Air? Wow!!! $1700 with no graphics card, no optical drive, no removeable battery etc etc. At that price I could get a real laptop with all the components and addon's you could possibly want. Me thinks this is, one for the Apple fans with money to waste

If nothing else the design is elegant and other manufactures will try to emulate and we'll all win out.

Yep, I agree messiah. I get fed up of humping my standard laptop about. Perhaps the manufacturers will give us a bag of frozen peas to keep the 'wafer thin little beauties' cool
