Object dock is killing desktopX... kind of wierd

everytime I roll over my objectdock and then click off of it, my DesktopX disapears and only the wall paper is left, with nothing else on the screen. Can anyone help me?

which version of Object dock (version number/ freeware or plus)?
what are the others applications running when this happened?
In which OS XP or Vista?
