4DWM/Indigo Magic desktop?

Sunday, January 6, 2008 by wilorg | Discussion: Skinning

I know that there is a 4dwm blind for window blinds ( I use it), but has anyone yet thought of or sucessfully made a full theme, including right-click, icon sets, taskbar, toolchest, virtual desktops, etc? Finding a way to emulate the wonderful Indigo Magic desktop would be F.A.B., so if anyone out there is interested in doing so, let me know. (and as for why I can't do it is simple - total kludge when it comes to this sort of thing). There is a project out there called 5DWM for Linux - the tool kit and the like are available - but can any of that be used to make a total theme set for windoze?

I have an icon package called Irix-PC.ip which has the SGI icons, but it's dated 23.04.2004 on my PC so I've no recallection where I got it from! Also, it's relatively incomplete when it comes to modern Windows icon requirements.

I'm not sure on the rules regarding redistribution. As it's an older IP file there is no readme or anything with it. Does anyone have any information on whether it would be OK to email it to wilorg?
