windows blinds program window
Sunday, December 16, 2007 by Browneyes70 | Discussion: WindowBlinds
I am loving the program, working good, the only issue/problem I have is when I launch Windows Blinds from my Task bar, It seems that I can't see everything in the window. Does that make sense??
Everything is fine on the left, but as I am reading it continues on, and I can't see what is on the right.
it is like the window isn't big enough and the writing is too big for the page. So I am not able to click any buttons over there (if there is any)
I hope this makes sense?!! Is there a way to fix this problem so I can see "everything" on the page.
Thanks

OK..I tried even changing the screen resolution settings, I put it at 1152x864 and nothing even changed on the WB config window at all. Actaully, it made it worse in a way.
It is like all other program windows will change like they should except the WB window.
I played with the fonts, and it didn't change it either, just everything else on my PC (like it should)
Bichur~ when you took your screen shot, is that what your WB config window truly looks like? I guess what I am asking is, when you open the program, is the screen that size on your desktop?
cause mine doesn't look like that at all, when I open WB config window, it takes up the whole screen. It doesn't look anything like yours does.
The way mine looks it makes me wanna resize the window but of course I can't. It's like everything is just too big for the window...weird..
But it works fine. I have had no issues.
I am just wondering though, when my trial version is done, and if I do decide to buy it, is the config window still gonna remain that way with the bought version??

I am glad to see though that I am not alone, and that someone else's screen shot looks exactly as mine. (Go-Horns) on you one shot, that is exactly what mine looks like as well.
Like I have said, it all works and I am really liking the program and will seriously be purchasing it.

Did anyone every find a solution to this problem of not being able to see everything in the configuration windows b/c the contents are too big for the window. I am having the same problem with the trial version of windows blinds. Any help would be appreciated.

If that's not the case try changing to a different skin and then rebooting.
If you still have problems I suggest uninstalling Windowblinds > reboot > install Impulse (if not already installed) > reboot > install Windowblinds

There have been some other posts with the same problem and it was changing from 5 to 6 that brought it to light. If a search through the forums doesn't work I'm sure an email to [email protected] will get you a fix.

WindowsFX can be used to limit the size of your windows - haven't tried it out, so not really sure what effect it would have on WB since WB isn't able to resize.
