Safari and Wincustomize

What's the deal?

Saturday, November 24, 2007 by DrJBHL | Discussion: Internet

I've noticed that with ie7, Firefox and Maxthon (which uses ie7) display the Wincustomize website accurately, but Safari does not. I know that there are websites it supposedly doesn't display correctly, but this is the first time I've run into it. Anyone else having similar problems or know a way to fix it (besides using one of the above browsers)?

Safari problems are known issues.  At the moment we are focusing our attention on IE, Firefox and Opera for compatibility purposes.

if you dont want to use IE7 or any other browser that user the internet explorer engine, then you may wish to consider either firefox or seamonkey. both of those browsers display the wincustomize site accurately and faster as well. Safari i can't help you with because i don't use it. good luck mate

Most safari users are Mac users.
Most mac users cannot use the apps (and skins) at WC.
Targeting one's audience is critical to ones success.

I'm considering becoming a Mac user, running XP under Parallels - and keeping XP skinned. You might be surprised at how that little market segment grows in the future.

Thanks people....guess it's Firefox.    Can't stand how slow ie7 is.
