How can I find city codes in the U.K for weather widgets. Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks

try useing yellow book,, i dont know if you have those over there

we have loads of coloured books but none will give you the code as we don't use codes over here just names.

Most gadgets use weather.com feeds. So go to weather.com and enter your city. Look in the URL and grab the code
So if I go ther and enter London, I get http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/UKXX0085. The code is UKXX0085.

That worked fine, but think it's quicker to just type place name.
Manchester is UKXX0092

Right not come across one yet . So will know now if do.
Thats the way with computers theres always a easy way or a I'll get there in the end way I tend to use the latter.
