If you are a Gmail user its worth reading the link below and considering backing up your email messages via POP, if you don't do it already

That's a good tip, Erk. Many people don't do this and if you lose all your emails - especially those important saved ones - the hassle and grief must be a total pain. Many people back up their docs etc on a regular basis but leave their webmail account in the safe hands of the provider. This should be a wake up call

mmmm.....the reason I signed up for gmail, was because it has huge storage...I read my regular email on the web and then just forward the important stuff to gmail...I began doing this because my Outlook Express has become very slow to open, and it is not packed with email. I read somewhere that Outlook express can just quit working, and I didn't want to lose anything important...

I have pop forwarding enabled with gmail and have everything sent to my Outlook and keep everything on the gmail servers as well (so I can access from other pc's if I want/have to).
