animation not working in userpane

okay this is the story,

found a great new program that does the wickedest animations, transported the frames in png files to my documents, then copy and pasted those onto my userpane frames to make up my animated sequence for my userpane.......but the animations are not working.......anyone have any ideas why?

 

im happy to send my skin to anyone who thinks they can work it out.......

im pretty certain all the settings are correct in sk for it.....  so im pretty baffled as to why its not working, i also checked wb,and couldnt seem to find anything wrong there either.......

*deep breath* hope this can get fixed!!!

I think there's some oddity in it, so you have to set the number of frames in SKS 1 higher than there actually is in your animation strip, plus you also have to set the size of the animation strip image 1 px smaller than it actually is. (Or something like that).

Take a look at Christmas Time to see how it's done. I'm pretty sure, you can get some help in that.

Once you get the settings correct it will work. It's just touchy.

If you continue to have trouble, email me the skin.

I seem to remember that you have to put "anim.dll" into the skin folder too. I could be wrong, haven't made an animated WB for a long time, things may have changed. I just copied the dll file from another animated skin that I had.

the name of the program is Partical Illusion.......it ROCKS.......you are all gonna luv it,..trust me! pixel, for some reason i couldnt download christmas time, the format cant be found.....maybe because i have wb6? im not sure, i sent a note to morgemil about it.......

Nighttrain, im deffinatley going to send you the skin, because Im not really good on this subject..........
