Logon studio Vista/BIG problem
have no idea how to fix

Has anyone run into this-when trying to return to vista logon screen it blacks out the picture and will not change to anything else,Also it removes access to main screens in explorer.I had to use system restore several times to get my machine half back to normal.Logon studio almost acts like it blocks a DLL or something like that.Any ideas would be appreciated.Also downloaded standalone program from Cnet and tried to switch,same problem.

Thanks for a reply,Ihave already rebooted into safemode with networking and got the same instance of noncompliance,this problem is pretty deep seated.Did the same thing in safemode,I even tried a pc restore,Same thing.Will not restore due to an error somewhere.I am considering reinstalling windows,I have the cd but have never attemted a reinstall.

Instead of reinstalling, do a repair. That might help. Just put in the MS cd and follow the dirs. When it prompts you for a install or repair, hit the "r" key. That might fix your problem.
