How can I find out when my wincustomize subscription expires? Also, does object desktop have a subscription attached to it?

Go to the home page of wincustomize and click on SUBSCRIBER RESOURCES in the upper right.

I'll hijack and ask this in the same thread....since it's about subscriptions

I went to the registrations section of my WC personal page and saw that my ODNT subscription expired back in January of this year. There was still a link to download SDC, which I did, but the only stuff I can access is either shareware or not part of ODNT, such as ObjectDock and Natural Desktop.

Am I right in thinking that the way ODNT works is that you can download and keep it up to date while the subscription is running, including thru major versions, but once it expires your cannot download anything, not even the versions of stuff that was available at the time your subscription was alive and kicking? For example, in my case, my PC with all my Stardock software died, unless I have the means to extract it from one of the old HDD's then the only option is to renew my subscription. Which I plan on doing at some point. Just a question for clarification is all.

Essencay, I believe in the case you describe Stardock has said to contact them with the information from the original email you got when you subscribed and that they would be able to get you back up. By that I mean versions of the programs that would have been current before your subscription expired.

Essencay amost everything is correct, but you can e-mail [email protected] to request downloads of previously purchased software without a currently active ODNT subscription. It happened to me & I received the e-mail in a few days. Just best to use SDC to download them so that you can then archive.

Thanks for the advice and info!

To update my ODNT subscription it was only $35 w00t!....now I am overwhelmed 'cause there's sooo many different skins  Running UniversalMetal2004 right now. One of my old favorites! Now I just gotta go haunt Essorant, who I know I got a bunch of stuff from and Pixtudio, who I think but can't quite remember I got a couple of things from.

Cheers,
