New CursorXP

Thursday, October 18, 2007 by DorkCoffeez | Discussion: OS Customization

Hello all,

The new CursorXP is due to launch in the near future. This is the updated version of CursorXP that will be Vista ready. What sort of new cursors are people looking for? What are your favorite types? These can be specific or broad.

Examples would be:

Rocket/Spaceships
Smooth Metal pointers
Glass pointers

or for categories

Complex animation
Steam Punk
Holiday
High Technology

Please cast votes for the new cursors! Cursors selected will be created new and then part of the launch package of the new software!

Cheers,
Seabass6.7

Must have a Pointy tip; not a rounded over tip.

I vote for Glass pointers and High Technology. What the libraries don't allready have, which are great, usually gets added through out the year. I'd stay away from complex animations, they are just cursors we're talking about, anyway there is always Plus for adding effects.

Moshi's Grounation is my favorite set by far, along with Bluecurve Inverse.

I have always used the holiday cursors and in between holidays, I always use the 3D metallic pointer... I like animations and pointed tip.... not rounded tip.

I agree. Most of the time I like clean, crisp, sharp, smooth... Yet, around holidays I want the fun stuff! Dancing Snowmen, Falling Snowflakes, Swirling Leaves, Spinning Easter Eggs- silly stuff like that.

Love the complex animated cursors, if Im gonna have something simple and stale might as well stick to the default windows cursor set.
