how do i clean this mess ?

Under solid colors there are a lot of folder locations that i want to clear and is there a way to do it thru the registry ?

These locations are added by Vista automatically if you apply a wallpaper from any particular location. Although it would be nice if there were some easy way to manage the list of items here, I have yet to find one.

These locations are not kept anywhere in the registry.

I finally found the way to clear the desktop background picture location history..I really think this should be made a sticky since nobody has been able to find the solution..

Here is the solution - open up regedit and go to the following 2 registry locations..
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Deskscapes\WallpaperFolders

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Wallpapers \ Images

when you get to wallpaperfolders delete whatever history folder you want and your desktop background picture location will be organized and clean as it should be..Do the same when you get to the images folder also..

please mods make this a sticky..thanks..
