How about a Vista Ready logo for icon packages?

I'm happy to see that a Vista Ready logo has been implemented for WindowBlinds skins. It would be helpful to implement this for icon packages too, since many that have not been designed for Vista do not work properly. Cheers!

It would be can be easier to find series of icons for Vista if iconpackager would be compatible Vista 64Bit
that will increase the number of anybody which can carry out packages

It's been four months since my first post and I'm going to say again that it is an ongoing annoyance not knowing if icon packages are Vista compatible. Most of the time the only way to find out is install the package. Then I check to see if the icons can be re-sized on the desktop and if the document folders are "live". That's not terribly hard, but it is disappointing to discover that a good looking package doesn't work. Please do the same for Icon Packages as you have done for WindowBlinds, i.e. have authors state if their IP's are Vista compatible and also make it a search criteria.

Well at the moment a lot of old Icon Packages from GUI Championship 2006 make it to the site (it's beyond my recognition why so late), which are clearly not Vista-compatible. So You can leave those out from testing right from the beginning.

IconPackager 4
Most people may not realize how important IconPackager 4 is going to be. If you're a Windows Vista user, you must realize by now that most existing icon packages are useless on Vista. That's a real shame since there's so many good icon packages out there. IconPackager 4 will address this in the following ways:
- IconPackager 4 will allow users to independently set their live folder icons from the rest of the package.
- IconPackager 4 will automatically scale up existing icons such that they look correct on Windows Vista.
- IconPackager 4 will have a much better user interface to allow us to expand its base feature set more easily in the future.

I've found many packages that do work, the complete Alpha Series (which I love!) but, a tag would be amazing.

I agree 100% that a Vista/Live Folders tag would be incredibly useful, especially on some of the paid for skins etc which contain icons but they aren't Vista compatible even if the actual WB skin is. Hopefully if the above post is true though, this will be alleviated with IP4? Is there any release date for IP4 yet, or even when a beta will be on SDC? I tried Impulse but it constantly tries to upgrade (downgrade should be) to an older version
